Ilya Korzhenevich -- Candidate-Master*

Ilya is a 1993 Russian Junior Championship Prize Winner. His chess teaching experience includes:

• 7 years of school, individual, and group instruction at all levels
• Presently a full-time chess instructor
• Featured in the Chicago Tribune and the Daily Herald
• Coach of 2002 7th grade and 2004 5th grade Illinois State Champions
• Coach of the 2004 Frosh-Soph IL State Champion High School Team
• Several of Mr. Korzhenevich’s students have been in the top 100 in the U.S. in their age group
• 90 trophies won by students in 2003
• ICA-Warren Junior Program (schools & top 50 scholastic individuals)--over 3 years.
• Blind-fold chess exhibitions.
• Chess Camp Instructor -- 8 one-week-long camps and 3 two-week-long camps.
